Jeremy Rayl is the CEO of J. Rayl Transport, Inc. Jeremy began his career at J. Rayl in 2002 as the Controller taking on his current role of CEO in 2007.

Jeremy holds a degree in Finance and Economics from John Carroll University. Jeremy is an active member of a local Vistage Group, the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), The American Trucking Associations, and The Ohio Trucking Association. He is also the past President of the Akron Traffic Club. Jeremy has engaged the Company in numerous charitable organizations such as The Haven of Rest.

Ryan Richards is the Director of Operations of J. Rayl Transport, Inc. Ryan began his career at JRayl in 2009 . Ryan has spent his entire professional career in the motor carrier industry. Prior to Jrayl, Ryan worked as the Director of Operations -East Coast Zone for Tire Centers LLC.  At Tire Centers LLC Ryan Managed 150 employees, 13 warehouses, and 100 delivery trucks with over ten million in monthly sales. He has a proven executive management track record with over 10 years of experience driving growth in the transportation industry. 

Ryan holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance from Miami University and a Masters in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).

Matthew Selby is the Director of Safety and General Counsel of J. Rayl Transport, Inc. Prior to J. Rayl, Matthew was in private practice focusing on business law and civil and criminal litigation with the law firm of Largent, Berry, Preston & Jamison Co., L.P.A.

Matthew holds a B.S. in Political Science from John Carroll University and a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Matthew is a licensed Attorney with the state of Ohio and an active member of the Ohio Bar Association, Transportation Lawyers Association, American Trucking Association, and The Ohio Trucking Association.

Daniel Carter is the Financial Controller of J. Rayl Transport, Inc. Daniel began his career at J. Rayl in 2005 as an Accounting Clerk taking on his current role of Financial Controller in 2010. He is responsible for the oversight and direction of Finance, Accounting, and Fiscal Control. A dynamic leader, Daniel is proficient in creating financial strategies that enhance organizational growth and increase sustainability.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration and Corporate Financial Management from The University of Akron and is pursuing a Masters Degree in in Business Administration from The University of Nebraska - Lincoln (2014). Daniel is an active member of the National Accounting and Finance Council.

Bryan Rafferty is the Director of Brokerage of J Rayl Logistics. Bryan began his career with J Rayl logistics in 2007 after spending eight years with Quality Logistics.  Bryan has been a large part of growing the logistics company from a small local brokerage to a full service logistics company moving over 100 loads per day and having annual growth of 10%+ for over five years.  He has been able to grow the brokerage division by addition of both an intermodal division and a variety of new customers.  Jrayl Logistics now has two full service brokerages with the corporate division here in Akron and a brand new office in the Dallas market. 

Bryan is the former president of the Akron Traffic Club and a member of the Cleveland Traffic Club and the American Truckers Association. Bryan loves to spend time with his family and has been lucky to be able to coach his daughters in both softball and basketball.  He is on the board with the Ellet Youth Athletic Association and has been able to spend time giving back to the Ellet community.  Bryan and his family are also members at Mogadore Baptist Church running the AWANA children's program since 2006.

E.J. Johnson is the V.P of Sales of J Rayl Transport, Inc. EJ began his career at J Rayl in September of 2009. He is responsible for overall revenue growth, sales personnel, customer relations and the selling of all product lines. His nearly 15 years of experience includes both non asset and asset based transportation solutions. EJ began his transportation career in 1998 with Brooke Transportation Company in Dallas, TX in operations and then sales director. In 2003, EJ joined a 3PL firm MW Logistics in Dallas, TX, an affiliate of Marten Transport, as the director of sales and managed national accounts.

EJ holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences and Economics from the University of North Texas. EJ attended Baldwin Wallace College and was a student athlete before transferring to UNT. A member of the Akron Traffic Club and American Trucking Association. Also, has been a volunteer for Goodwill Industries, youth coach for his children and an instructor for his church programs.

For the past 15 years, Nathan Lambert has been a proven innovation leader in the Information Technology community. Nathan started in the Information Technology field in 1996 building and troubleshooting PC systems for General Electric Lighting. In 1998, Nathan joined the International consulting firm, Accenture LLP, implementing Enterprise wide process improvements for Fortune 500 clients such as LTV Steel, PolyOne, FedEx, Fairmount Hotels, and International Paper. In 2001, he joined Case Western Reserve University serving on the executive management team as the Chief Technology Officer in the University Libraries. As CIO of JRayl Transport Inc, Nathan provides leadership for all administrative and strategic projects as they relate to IT. JRayl strives to innovate through information technology while also tracking return on all IT investments.

 

Nathan is active with a number of local charities and currently serves on the Board for the Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism. Nathan holds a degree in Finance from John Carroll University and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University (Fall 2012). As an entrepreneur, Nathan helped launch Grid Dynamics in 2004, Off Euclid Consulting in 2005 and co-founder of Knowta 2010. Nathan is currently an advisor to business incubation firm Shaker LaunchHouse.
